Light applications

Fences, play equipment and outbuildings without concrete

For a fence, a gate, a sign or play equipment you would traditionally dig a hole and pour concrete. A ground screw does the same in minutes, without concrete, and can be removed again later.

Which foundation?

Short ground screws

For light applications such as fences we also use short 0.8 m screws.

Winged and block piles

For signs, lighting and noise barriers, where the wind pushes sideways.

Outbuildings and stores

A store or small outbuilding stands on ground beams on LGT ground screws, like a garden shed.

Frequently asked questions

How deep does a fence screw go?

For light fences short 0.8 m screws are often enough. For gates or taller fences we go longer.

Can play equipment go on ground screws?

Yes. Ground screws also hold play equipment down against tipping and uplift.

Can I do it myself?

Yes. We also rent machines and give you a short instruction.
