EV chargers and lighting

EV chargers and lighting on ground screws, without a concrete base

An EV charger, a lighting column or a bollard needs a small, firm base that does not lean. Instead of a pit and a concrete base we screw in a ground screw with a head plate: the post can be fixed to it straight away.

Why no concrete?

  • No pit to dig and no soil to remove
  • No concrete base to cure: bolted down at once
  • Small working area, handy in car parks and along façades
  • Set plumb and level with a laser
  • Can be moved if the car park layout changes

Which foundation?

PRO ground screws

With a head plate to which the base of the charger or column is bolted.

Taller columns

For a tall lighting column the wind matters most: then we choose a heavier or longer screw.

Cables

We request the location of cables and pipes beforehand. The electrician connects the post afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

Can an EV charger go on a ground screw?

Does the paving have to be opened?

Usually only a small opening where the screw goes.

Do you do the electrical connection?

No, your electrician does. We install the foundation.
