Subsidence survey: first the cause, then the solution
Not every crack means a foundation problem. We examine the crack pattern, the soil and the existing foundation, and only then advise which technique your house needs.

When to choose it
- New or growing cracks, especially stepped cracks in brickwork
- Cracks wider than ± 2 mm, or that change after winter or summer
- Doors and windows that stick
- You are buying or selling a house with cracks
- You want to know whether repair is needed or monitoring is enough
How we work

We map the crack pattern, measure crack widths and level differences and inspect the foundation.
- 03
Monitoring

- 04
Advice
You get clear advice: Magnum Push Piers, Deep Lift, Slab Lift, a combination, or simply monitoring.

Inspecting the foundation
Where needed we expose the foundation locally. That shows its type, depth and condition, and where the subsidence comes from.
See the projectWhen is a crack dangerous?
Stepped cracks, cracks wider than ± 2 mm and cracks that keep growing often point to subsidence. Hairline cracks in plaster are usually harmless.
What does a subsidence survey cost?
You get a fixed price in advance. If you then let us carry out the repair, the survey is deducted.
Does my insurance cover foundation repair?
That depends on the cause and your policy. Our report helps you discuss it with your insurer.
Not sure which technique your home needs?
Send us a few photos of the cracks. We visit without obligation and advise the right approach.
