A question we get a lot: what does that resin do in my garden, under my house, in the groundwater? In short: the resin we use is made to stay in the ground. These are the facts.

| Our expanding resin | |
|---|---|
| Composition | Two-component polyurethane, expanding |
| CFCs and formaldehyde | Free of CFCs and formaldehyde |
| Groundwater | Permitted in water catchment areas |
| After curing | Inert: does not dissolve or break down |
| Weight | About 85 kg/m³, hardly any extra load |
| Curing | 90% of final strength after about 15 minutes |
| Warranty | 30 years |
The two components are only mixed in the injection lance. In the ground the resin expands within seconds to about 30 times its volume and cures into a solid, closed mass. It fills voids and compresses the ground. After that nothing changes: the resin stays in place.
With serious damage, have a structural engineer assess the situation. Soiltek is a specialist contractor: we record, measure, propose a technique and carry out the repair, in consultation with your engineer.
